OHS construction induction training also known as the white card course (and formerly known as the ‘green card’) provides an awareness and understanding of:

* the rights and responsibilities under OHS law
common hazards and risks in the construction industry
* basic risk management principles
* the standard of behaviour expected of workers on construction sites.

It is required for people:

* carrying out construction work, including site managers, supervisors, surveyors, labourers and trades persons
* who access operational construction zones unaccompanied or not directly supervised by an inducted person, and
* whose employment causes them to routinely enter operational construction zones.

Persons attending this course must be able to comprehend English and provide 100 points of ID as per WorkCover NSW guidelines.

Duration: One day (approx 7 hours)

A WP licence is a legal requirement for anyone who operates an Elevating Work Platform (Boom Lift) 11m and over. If you do not already have a valid WorkCover Licence, you must enrol in a formal training course, delivered by a Registered Training Organisation. When you have achieved sufficient skills and competencies, you will be eligible to apply for a licence assessment by a WorkCover NSW accredited assessor.
